For the first time in the history of the International Association of Theatre Critics the candidacies for the new board has been processed by a Nominating Committee. According to the new statutes, this committee was elected by the general assembly in Brno 2024. Now they present a candidacy for the presidency and the post of the general secretary.  For the 10 places in the board, 11 candidacies are presented.

The Nominating Committee consists of three members: Honorary President Yun-Cheol Kim, Honorary Vice-president Zeynep Oral and Honorary President Margareta Sörenson. They have collated the candidacies so they all give a good picture of the candidates and the national member associations behind them. The election will take place in the general assembly in Craiova in May 2026 by the delegates from the national associations of the IATC.
