I have carefully considered my candidacy and I would be honoured to continue contributing to the work of AICT-IATC in the coming period. Over the more then two decades I have gained extensive professional and academic experience in theatre research, criticism, and international collaboration, which I would like to further develop within the activities of the association. I strongly believe that I can participate in creating spaces for dialogue, critical reflection, and professional exchange across generations because it is essential for the vitality of our field.

During my two-year term as a member of the Executive Committee of AICT-IATC, I gained valuable experience in international cooperation and organisational work. I participated in the preparation of conferences in Brno and Craiova, chaired the Young Critics’ Workshop in collaboration with Jean-Pierre Han, and served as the monitor of the English-language group in Bangkok. I also began contributing to the editorial work of Critical Stages.

These experiences strengthened my commitment to collaborative work and professional exchange among theatre critics from different cultural contexts. I would like to continue participating in the organisation of workshops for young critics and to contribute actively to the association’s activities by drawing on my academic background, professional expertise, and long-standing experience in the field.

An important part of this work is international networking – connecting theatre critics from around the world and creating opportunities for dialogue and encounter. In this regard, I remain actively involved in the Czech national section of AICT-IATC, where we organise initiatives such as the Visitors’ Programme, and conferences.

At the same time, I would like to further develop my collaboration with Critical Stages, particularly as a guest editor for the conference section, and to continue contributing to the intellectual and professional exchange that the journal fosters within the international community of theatre critics.

Among other world languages, I speak fluent English and French.
