I have had an honour to work with International Association of Theatre Critics since 2020 when I was first charged with the Association’s social media and the website. Later, I became Adjunct Secretary General, helping out on various tasks including taking minutes of the ExCom meetings. I was voted as a Secretary General by the Executive Committee of AICT/IATC in 2022 when Michel Vaïs decided to retire, later I was elected by the General Assembly in Brno Czechia in 2024.

During the two years after the General Assembly 2024 I have worked on many different directions together with the Executive Committee and the President. Launching a new website of the Association to organizing an Executive Committee meeting in my home town Tbilisi, in Georgia to name just a few. Al at the same time I have been maintaining contact with the member National Sections and managing the smooth information flow.

Currently I work as a is a Managing Director of Ilia State University Theatre, Tbilisi, Georgia. I am also teaching Shakespeare and Events Management at Ilia State University in Tbilisi. During my carrier I have been part of many theatre projects for the National Theatre, as well as National Theatre Prize Duruji, I have served as a member of Jury for the best Georgian Play and Best Translated Play Competition on many occasions

I graduated from the American University of Paris with a degree in Comparative Literature, Tbilisi State University with Master Degree in English Literature and London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) with Master of Sciences in Media and Communication. I am fluent in both official languages of AICT/IATC – French and English, which is extremely helpful for the work I do for the Association. I also speak fluent Russian, as well as my native Georgian.
