AICT in South America

In 2007, the Seminar for Young Theatre Critics that the IATC organizes around the world was held for the first time in South America (Area hispana). It took place in Cordoba, Argentina, during the “Festival Internacional del MERCOSUR” in association with Teatro al Sur , revista latinoamericana. Critics from different regions in Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia and Portugal took part in the seminar where they shared the realities of their theatres and their points of view. Two years later, for the new edition of the festival, a review that compiles the work of the young critics during that week was published, in order to present a sample of that experience to a wider audience.
