Europe Theatre Prize in Rome

As one of the main partners in the project, IATC is proud to announce the next edition of Europe Theatre Prize in Rome, from the 12^th to the 17^{th of} December, 2017.

The Prize is part of the celebrations for the 60^th anniversary of the Treaties of Rome and the G7 as a special project of the Minister of Culture, also by the will of the President of the Italian Republic. These celebrations coincide with the 30^th anniversary of the Europe Theatre Prize, the first cultural initiative of this kind in the field of performing arts promoted by the European Community.

The XVI Europe Theatre Prize will go to two emblematic figures of the international stage, two actors with theatrical training and careers: Isabelle Huppert and Jeremy Irons, both capable of ‘migrating’ from the dimension of theatre to that of cinema and vice versa.
