The AICT/IATC is offering a workshop for young theatre critics to be held from 20 to 25 May 2024 (arrival on 20 May, departure on 25 May) in Brno, Czech Republic, during International Festival Theatre World Brno. You can now apply as soon as possible for one of the 20 places offered, 10 for the French-language group and 10 for the English-language group. To apply, you need to be a professional critic aged between 18 and 35 years old. All applicants are invited to send in their application form, together with a brief CV (just one page!), 2 or 3 examples of articles published in the press and a letter of recommendation from the head of the AICT/IATC section in their country (if their country has a national section of the AICT/IATC or is part of a regional section). All these documents should be sent in a single PDF file, if possible. Please note the following:
You will each have a single room. Your meals will be taken care of according to arrangements that will be specified on site. You will receive a pass giving you free entry to all the performances and meetings taking place during the Festival. Festival organisers will pick you up at the station or airport on 20 May.
If you have to travel a long way from your home country to Brno, the AICT/IATC may be able to offer you financial assistance.
The monitors are, for the English language group: Pawit Mahasarinand (Thailand), for the French language group: Caroline Châtelet (France).

A final list of all selected participants will be announced as soon as possible, to allow everyone to make their travel arrangements, and to obtain a visa for the Czech Republic if necessary.
