The main event in the complex schedule of IATC, the biennial Congress, took place in St. Petersburg in the auspicious context of Europe Theatre Prize and the Baltic House Festival. It included a series of meetings and public activities such the General Assembly and the highly anticipated IATC Conference dedicated to the very timely theme of “Theatre and (In)Tolerance”. The papers presented by IATC members from various countries and the following discussions took place in Dom Aktera (The Actors’ House), in front of an international audience consisting not only of critics, but also artists and producers from around the world.
The IATC wishes to express its gratitude to the organizers of Europe Theatre Prize – whose current edition’s recipient was Valery Fokin – and the Russian hosts for the high quality of the event held it St. Petersburg.
